Meet the 2019 Committee


Tyler Bridges

Tyler has just completed a Bachelor of Communication and is now commencing her first year of a Bachelor of Law / Bachelor of Business. She joined UoN Cheerleading in her first year of university and is now heading into her 5th year as an athlete but 3rdyear on committee. Her favourite thing about university cheerleading is the amazing friends she meets and the new skills she learns and cannot wait to see what 2019 will bring!

Vice President

Hannah Maree

Hannah is currently studying a Bachelor of Education (honours) majoring in early childhood and primary education and is in her 3rdyear of both university and cheerleading. She has a bubbly and bright attitude towards everything cheer related and is a great member to the committee as she has endless ideas! She has also made great advancements in her tumbling here at UoN and is excited for the new skills she will learn in 2019!


Nina Heron

Nina is in her 2nd year of cheerleading with UoN where she is currently studying a Bachelor of Music, also in her second year. She is no stranger to competitions as she has danced competitively since she was 3. She has also attained diplomas in dance and musical theatre. She decided to run for secretary this year as she has a great eye for detail and also loves to be involved as much as possible. She is mostly looking forward to Nationals in Melbourne at the end of this year and loves to cheer on her fellow Seahawk teammates.


Tanika Bradford

Tanika has recently graduated her Bachelor of Teaching (Hons) majoring in Primary Education but has unfortunately decided to take this year off competing to rest and recover from past injuries. Tanika has decided to stick around for university cheerleading for another year, coordinating all merchandise for the team! Tanika has competed with UoN Cheerleading for the past 4 years and has previously been involved with the committee last year. Tanika loves cheerleading as it keeps her fit while having fun and she loves learning new skills in both tumbling and stunting.

Public Relations

Ebony Bain

Ebony is in her 3rd year of university and university cheerleading, studying a double degree of Law and Social Science majoring in Criminology. She comes from a long history of dance, acrobatics and gymnastics and has made her way into university cheerleading! She decided to go for the role of PR Advisor as she believes she has a lot of good ideas in terms of events and team bonding activities and loves planning and editing photos for social media and wants to ensure all team members on both the all-girl and co-ed teams feel included and one as a team.

Jessica McCreery

Jessica is in her 2ndyear of university cheerleading but her 3rdyear of university studying a Bachelor of Environmental Science majoring in sustainability. She loves all aspects of cheerleading and has given every position a go! She always has a great attitude towards cheerleading and has decided to run for joint PR Advisor alongside Ebony as they work well together both inside and outside of cheer and believe 2 heads are better than 1!

Team Advisor

Isobel Saccaro

Isobel is in her 2nd year of university studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. She started competitive cheerleading in 2008 and joined the UoN cheerleading team in 2018. Unfortunately, due to injury she is taking this year off from competing to rest and recover however wants to stay involved with the team as team advisor! She loves the sport of cheerleading for the new friends she meets but she also loves working on her stunting skills! Her main goal for 2019 is to strengthen UoN Cheerleading’s relationship with other university teams and programs around Australia!
